Introducing The Grand Seiko 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Ref. SBGR321

Introducing The Grand Seiko 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Ref. SBGR321

Speedy Take

Grand Seiko has quite recently reported an extra model to their blue-themed 60th Anniversary Limited Edition assortment. The first four watch assortment was saw in late January of this current year and incorporated a Hi-Beat model, a women programmed, and two quartz models – all as restricted versions with blue dials (and most with red accents). The new SBGR321 makes that group of four to a greater degree a “Five Neat Guys” situation and balances Grand Seiko’s 60th Anniversary assortment with a receptive 40mm automatic.

Starting Thoughts

Larger than the SBGR253 yet more modest than the SBGR307, the SBGR321 is 13mm thick with a domed and hostile to intelligent sapphire precious stone, 100m water obstruction, and a presentation caseback showing a red and blue shading for the rotor which, similar to the sparkling blue shade of the dial, is roused before breakfast over Japan’s Mt. Iwate.

Like other SBGR models, the SBGR321 is fueled by Grand Seiko’s 9S65 programmed. Offering a 72-hour power hold, a pace of 4 Hz, and an expressed exactness of +5/ – 3 seconds every day, the 9S65 is wonderfully completed and offers time alongside focal seconds and a date work at three.

Limited to 2,500 pieces and hitting Grand Seiko retail for $5,200, I need to think this will be perhaps the most well known models in the setup, as the SBGR321 offers a clear programmed development and costs some $1,100 not exactly the (in fact more restricted) SBGH281 Hi-Beat 60th Anniversary model.

If you burrowed the first thought of a blue-dialed restricted release Grand Seiko however didn’t have any desire to dish out for the Hi-Beat, this may be the one for you.
