Introducing The Hublot Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic
Today, out of LVMH Watch Week in Dubai, we have another expansion to the Big Bang MP-11 setup from Hublot. Until this point, we’ve seen the HUB9011 14-day development cased up in sapphire precious stone, 3D Carbon, and King Gold. The most recent model is a 100-piece restricted version in clay. And keeping in mind that ceramic watches are practically nothing new, artistic in bright tones like the one we see here are very uncommon. Hublot debuted its first cutting edge earthenware watch in red back in 2018. At that point, it was the primary innovative artistic watch to be made in a shading other than black or white.
The Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic’s HUB9011 development has 14 days of force save because of seven arrangement coupled barrels organized on a level plane, just below the showcase for the time. Their up front in the photograph above, beneath an undulation in the sapphire crystal. One can peruse how long are left in the hold on a showcase at the extreme left finish of the arrangement coupled barrels. The sporadically molded sapphire precious stone isn’t incredible these days, but it is still beautiful strange. Communicating energy from the evenly adjusted barrel arbor to the vertical cog wheels controlling the hour and moment show required the utilization of a 90 degree helical worm gear, which is visible at the 10 o’clock position. The balance wheel can be seen on the opposite side of the dial, at 2 o’clock.
In the vein of watches like the La Ferrari and the Big Bang Tourbillon Power Reserve 5 Days Sapphire, this is the sort of watch that I generally partner with Hublot as a brand. With its 45mm bright red clay Big Bang case and its 14-day development, the Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic is a watch that inclines in without making any expressions of remorse. It isn’t attempting to be subtle or shy. Disregard sliding it under your shirtsleeve; it will not fit. Its in-your-face request is to be taken note. At $86,000, it costs more than the generally surviving carbon fiber variant ($82,000) but not exactly the sapphire cased rendition ($105,000) and both King Gold adaptations ($89,500 with 3D Carbon bezel and $148,000 set with diamonds). It’s not for everybody, but rather Hublot realizes its customer base and these watches will sell.
